Oggetto quasi

“Oggetto quasi” is a visual narrative that speaks of memory, generations, and emotion. It unfolds like a family album in which people and objects drift through a dreamlike dimension, intertwining with one another.

I grew up in an environment filled with bizarre and unusual artifacts, each carrying its own story and its own “memories”; I still think of my father complaining about the keepsakes that crowded the windowsill, preventing him from looking beyond.

Memories, indeed, because in this case, objects are not merely silent witnesses to the reality that surrounds them, but the protagonists of a story they themselves seek to tell. I have explored the intimate relationship that develops between people and seemingly inanimate things, which can acquire a value that is, in some respects, human, certainly personal, and at times even metaphysical.
